Your Gift Makes a Difference

You can touch lives in the name of Jesus Christ by giving to the Special Funds supporting the work of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Montana

REGIONAL CHURCH PERMANENT FUND

This fund was established to ensure a solid future for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Montana.  Annual earnings support the care of pastors and congregational ministries, youth ministry, camps and conferences, social justice ministries, and leader development.

ANNUAL FUND
The Annual Fund supports the work of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Montana each year.  Through its ministry, congregations receive guidance in calling ministerial leadership and support as they seek to respond in faithful, effective ways to the changing needs around them.  The fluidity of this fund allows the Regional Church to generate flexible, creative solutions to emerging challenges.

CANE RIDGE WEST PERMANENT FUND
Cane Ridge West is a beautiful log conference center located in the Blackfoot River Valley five miles east of Lincoln, Montana.  It is the site of retreats, family gatherings, Regional events, and camps for children and youth.  The earnings from this managed fund go to maintain and improve the facilities each year.

THE RIVER PROJECT
Together, as members of the Regional Church, we have been able to stop the erosion of property at Cane Ridge West caused by the Blackfoot River.  What's more, we have put natural barriers in place designed to reclaim the land that has been lost over time.  The River Project was financed with Regional Funds allocated by the Regional Board.  Now, we hope to replenish those funds, paying ourselves back for the work that has been accomplished.  The goal of this fund is to help us eliminate our debt.

NEW CHURCH FUND
When you give to this fund you are helping to establish new congregations in the state of Montana.  Why are new churches important?  Studies show that people who have not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior are more likely to connect with a church in formation rather than one that has been established in the community for many years.  The Regional Board allocates monies out of this fund as needed to support the work of New Church Planters who are gathering together new communities of faith.

MINISTERIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Income from this invested fund provides college and seminary scholarships to students from Montana who are preparing to enter a full-time church-related vocation.  Offerings received at Ordinations and Installation Services in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Montana also support this fund.
